ABOUT US

Nader and Sarah were engaged on Feb 6, 2010 with an Islamic Marriage Contract. Nader and Sarah met while going to CMU and working with the Muslim Students Assoc.

Nader Shakir

Nader is an Iraqi-American, born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Nader graduated from CMU with a degree in Biology and Psychology and is currently working towards medical school.

Sarah Aboutalib

Sarah is an Egyptian-American, born and raised in Southern California. She did her PhD in Computer Science at CMU in Pittsburgh, where she met Nader.

OUR WEDDING

We were engaged in Pittsburgh with an Islamic Marriage Contract (katub kitab) (pictures). However, the official wedding party is still to come. Thus, it is with great honor that we would like to cordially invite you to this special event:

PARKING & DIRECTIONS

The wedding will be held outside in a grassy park overlooking the ocean, so please dress with this in mind. Formal dress code, with traditional ethnic clothes encouraged (as long as formal).
